Future of the Past was released in 1996 as a collection of covers paying tribute to bands that influenced Vader, including Sodom, Kreator, Possessed, Celtic Frost and Slayer. The artwork was created by Polish artist Krzysztof Iwin, known for figurative art with surrealist elements and a dark, often macabre atmosphere.
