I’m Nils, the Cryptkeeper of Hella Vintage.
I grew up with heavy metal through my parents and started playing drums in a punk band in elementary school, so music, band shirts and artwork were around from an early age.
What I love about vintage band shirts is simple: you’re wearing something that was made to last & shows what music you’re into without having to say much.
Hella Vintage started in 2021, selling shirts through online marketplaces & to friends before launching the online shop in 2024.
We sell vintage band shirts from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, with a focus on metal and punk.
Most of our shirts come from flea markets, house clearances and private collections. We do not use wholesalers.
The music matters to us just as much as the shirt itself, which is why not every piece has to be rare. Sometimes it is the fade, the print or simply the band that makes a shirt worth picking up.
